Nandina Compacta grows to reach 4 to 5 feet tall and 3 to 4 feet wide. The foliage is a red-purple in winter and fall. The remainder of the year, the foliage is green with a red tint. During the summer, the plant has small white blooms that later turn into red berry-like clusters.
